a kiss cut and drill hole, which allows you to have
information printed on a section of the sticker that
will later be detached once the sticker part is
peeled off and applied.
A hang-tag sticker is an attractive and economical
way to advertise your company, instead of
traditional card stock hand-tags that are typically
removed and discarded. By using others to apply the
sticker to a visible location, such as their
vehicle, this helps promote your company through
name recognition. Hang-tags can attract attention to

A "kiss cut" is a conforming die that "cuts" the surface of the vinyl, but it doesn't cut through the backing material paper. A kiss cut allows individual stickers to be peeled off, leaving the rest of the sticker untouched. A kiss cut is often used for sticker kits that have several stickers on a sheet of various shapes and sizes that can be removed individually. We have several styles of stickers available, from vinyl thermal die-cut to vinyl "kiss-cut" (multiple or single stickers on a backing sheet).
A special die is made to fit the outer shape of your design, which cuts through the top sticker material. Remember, when designing a kiss cut, to indicate the die line on a separate layer and to leave 1/8" on either side of the kiss cut to allow for a safety area. There should also be 1/4" between cuts, so if your kiss cut runs parallel with the die cut, each of them needs 1/8" for a total of 1/4" between cuts.
